Venezia Airport
Venice is served by the Marco Polo International Airport (http://www.veniceairport.it/?lan=en) located at about 13 kms from the city (Piazzale Roma car terminal).
Please note that some European low cost airlines operate flights to Venice-Treviso Airport (http://www.trevisoairport.it/?lan=en). The Treviso Airport is located at about 30 kms from Venice Piazzale Roma car terminal.
As you know, there is no road transport within Venice city centre. All road transport terminate at the Piazzale Roma car terminal. The Venice Marco Polo Airport is connected to Venice city centre by public transportations:
ACTV bus n° 5 (orange bus) to Piazzale Roma city terminal leaves from the platforms outside the arrival hall. The drive takes approx. 25 minutes. Information about the timetable and prices is available in the ACTV web-site at http://www.actv.it/.
ATVO bus (blue bus) to Piazzale Roma city terminal leaves from the platforms outside the arrival hall. The drive takes approx. 20 minutes. Information about the timetable and prices is available in the ATVO web-site at http://www.atvo.it/.
Alilaguna waterbus to Venice city centre (St. Mark’s Square) via the Venezia-Lido island. The boats leave from the pier (darsena). The ride takes approx. 1h.15’. Information about the timetable and prices is available in the Alilaguna web-site at http://www.alilaguna.com.
Tickets can be bought in the arrival hall of the airport or directly on board.
Treviso Airport
The small Treviso San Giuseppe Airport (http://www.trevisoairport.it/?lan=en) is located at about 30 kms from Venice Piazzale Roma car terminal, to which it is connected by the ATVO Eurobus, leaving from the platform just outside the air terminal.
Bus schedule coincides with Ryanair arrivals and departures. The drive to Piazzale Roma takes approx. 1h.10’.
From Piazzale Roma station you can reach your destination in town by public transportation, the vaporetto. All vaporetto stops are located just outside the station.

By train
Venezia Santa Lucia Rail Station is linked to the major Italian and European cities.
Some trains do not reach the Santa Lucia station, stopping instead at the Venezia-Mestre Station located on the mainland. From Venezia-Mestre you find frequent trains (every 5-10 minutes) to Venezia Santa Lucia. The run takes 10 minutes.

From Venezia Santa Lucia station you can reach your destination in town either by walking, or by public transportation, the vaporetto. All vaporetto lines stop just outside the station.

By car
As you know, there is no road transport within Venice city centre. The car and bus terminal is Piazzale Roma. Arriving at Piazzale Roma you have to leave your car in one of the car parks running there, the largest ones being:

Otherwise, before entering Piazzale Roma, at the end of the long bridge connecting Venice to the mainland, you will find on your right a diversion to the Tronchetto Island, where is a large car park:
