ENCORA is an European platform for Integrated Coastal zone Management, which intends to facilitate sharing of knowledge and experience among scientists, politicians and practioners. The aim is to promote the implementation of Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) by overcoming the fragmentation of coastal science, practice and policy.

ENCORA is organized in a Matrix of 13 National Networks in almost all European coastal nations, and 10 transnational, issue-driven Thematic Networks
